Next Departure Desktop App Västtrafik - JAVA/JAVAFX 

This is a exploratory project to learn more about coding against an API, more specifically Gothenburgs public transit company, Västtrafik and their open API "Reseplaneraren V2": Västtrafik Developer Portal

Since I mainly know Java, this is what I used to call the API and to turn it into a more completed project is used JavaFX to create a GUI for the application.

At the moment the application only displays departures from a selected number of stations but I'm working on getting it more universal. 

The application can be run on Win, MacOS or Linux with Java 8 installed by using this file: ZIP-file

Unzip, open the folder and click the Nästa tur.jar-file and it should boot up.
